Taking Stock #4 : Hoping, Enjoying, Wondering, Following, Waiting

Phewph! That was a bit of a busy week for me. Though I don’t feel like I got that much done, which is always a bit of an unsettling feeling. Nevertheless! This is my first short and sweet photo-based Taking Stock post for this year (I did the full list last month) so I hope you enjoy and maybe think of doing your own taking stock if the feeling takes you!

Hoping: I can keep on top of my Goodreads Reading Challenge this year! I’m a little behind schedule already – for some reason I haven’t felt like reading. I’m not sure what’s wrong with me…

Enjoying: the fact that this candle is wafting its beautiful scent throughout my whoooole room. Delicious!

Wondering: if I’ll ever be able to stop buying fabric samples when I don’t need them. Probs not.

Following: the Michalak Family Diaries by Hannah Maggs and her very talented husband Stef.

Waiting: impatiently for autumn and winter. The hot weather has really thrown me out of whack this summer. Bring on the rain!

How has your week shaped up so far?

I love the photos taking stock idea! Some terrific looking books on your pile too that I've not read but look really interesting.I'm sure your reading mojo will pick up!

Thanks, Pia! I love taking photos but didn't really want to commit to having a photo for each prompt on the whole list so I just pick the ones that I want to focus on each month. I'm doing the full list, just as a written post with no photos, in January, July, and December this year and the shorter ones like this in between.

Yes! They're all great books, I just haven't been in the mood lately – I blame the weather, partially. Too hot to concentrate!

    Thanks for stopping past 🙂

Yes! You should – I've only read a few chapters but am loving it so far. Thanks for stopping past, Annette!

Thanks Mel 🙂 Yes, I thought so too – couldn't pass it up, especially since it was on sale. I'm a fool for a good sale! Thanks for your comment x
