Nice Things #7

orlistat pris I have to admit I was a real grumpy grouch yesterday. I’d just finished house/kitten sitting for my sister and had some errands to run before heading home. I had a headache but no painkillers on me, I got rained on, there was a ridiculously long wait at the chemist’s, I was hungry and tired and didn’t really have the energy to drive. Helloooo cranky-town. But then I realised that I needed to curate things for today’s post and do you know, I felt a little bit better? Hopefully you enjoy the list as much as I enjoyed creating it!

  • How perfect is this super cute DIY for these cold nights that are upon us?
  • And here’s some more crafty goodness in the shape of cute fruit pom poms!
  • While you’re busily crafting away, might you listen to some music? This cute little post by fellow blogger, Catherine, over at Saint Cardigan got me thinking about my favourite crafting tunes.
  • Fancy treating yourself to a lovely little necklace? Or perhaps you need to buy a gift for someone special? I adore these necklaces made with recycled fabric.
  • If you DO buy someone a gift this month, maybe you could use some of these awesome washi tape wrapping ideas to make the gift look extra special?
  • How impressive is this shadow and light art by Kumi Yamashita?
  • Here’s a different kind of art – street art, with a sense of humour.
  • And finally, wouldn’t it be nice to sit back and devour a slice of this with your afternoon cuppa? Me thinks so.

do you need a prescription to buy nolvadex This month’s Nice Things had a strong art and crafts feel to it, didn’t it? I’ve mentioned a few times here and on Facebook that I’ve been finding it difficult to get into a crafty mood lately. By looking around and seeing what other people are doing, I feel quite a bit invigorated. Huzzah! Who knows what this will bring.

How are you going? Are you well? How is the month of July shaping up for you?

Hello Jacquie! I am well. Very well. I love your Nice Things posts. How gorgeous is that cat wheat bag…I must make that when I get home. I also love the necklaces made from cloth, and the Saint Cardigan blog. Thanks! You and Pip inspired me to do my own collation style post today – not quite the crafty flavour, but just some things I’ve been enjoying reading/listening to as I travel around China. I hope you’re feeling less grumpy today! Seriously, chemists always take sooooo long, how hard is it to put some medicine in a box is what I want to know 😉

Hi Isabel! So glad you’re well – tummy feeling better, I take it?

Thanks so much. It’s always so lovely to get positive feedback on a post 😀 The cat wheat bag is just the best, isn’t it? Not quite as good as the real thing but close! I think I might have to buy myself one of those necklaces…they’re just so sweet. I’m glad to hear you like Saint Cardigan! I found her blog through a blogging course by Pip we both did (though we had actually met before in real life!). It’s such a lovely blog.

Your post sounds great! I must pop over and have a read later on today. I must admit, I’m so terrible at keeping on top of everyone’s blogs! :/

I DO feel less grumpy today, thank you. And your comment definitely played a part in that so thank you ^.^ And don’t even get me started on the chemist’s. I mean, really, it’s a pretty straight forward script. 😛 Turns out the beeper PDA thing they gave me had run out of battery so it didn’t alert me when they had actually finished my order. So they probably HAD done it in a reasonable time, I just didn’t know :/

Anyway, I’ll be sure to pop over to your blog today! Looking forward to sitting down with a cup of tea and reading about your adventures x

Thanks so much for mentioned my music post! I am super flattered that it was one of your ‘nice things’ 🙂
I also really needed those washi tape wrapping ideas, as I am a bit of a washi tape hoarder, hehe 😉

No problem at all, Catherine! I enjoyed it very much and I thought it went well with the crafty things I was suggesting! 🙂 Oh, me too. I have a huge glass jar full of washi tape. It’s a serious problem. Thanks so much for stopping past, Catherine! x
